Hello, and thank you for being here -
2022 was quite a year! Blurred Fates came out on August 2, my launch at Warwick's was sold out, and all sorts of essays, interviews, and podcasts hit the internet. At one point, I received three text messages from family and friends about their copy of Blurred Fates arriving, and my husband turned to me and said, "think of that—your book is on delivery trucks all over the country right now." For some reason, this struck me as both very real and surreal!
I hope that what you find on this website will spark your interest in reading Blurred Fates. Please look around and check out the videos of narrative nonfiction performances. My personal favorites are "Putting the Fun in Funeral," a bittersweet (and funny) story about bonding with my siblings as we planned our father's funeral, and "4 AM," a humorous story about the jobs I held the summer I was seventeen.
All the best,
