I am so excited to share that my second novel, The Other Side of Nothing, is now available wherever books are sold! Please check out the Books page where you can order it now. Called "powerful . . . moving and timely," by Zibby Owens, and "heart-wrenching, riveting, and hopeful," by Emma Grey, the book was awarded the 2024 IPPY Gold Medal for Popular Fiction. Oh, and you can also learn about my debut, Blurred Fates, winner of both the 2023 Sarton Award and the 2023 National Indie Excellence Award in Contemporary Fiction.
If you want to know who I really am, skip the About page and head straight to Videos. I started my writing career by performing short memoir pieces, and it remains a highlight for me. My personal favorites are "Putting the Fun in Funeral," a bittersweet (and funny) story about bonding with my siblings as we planned our father's funeral, and "4 AM," a humorous story about the jobs I held the summer I was seventeen (including a short-lived stint as a lunchtime lingerie model, a gig set up by my incredibly naive, but also incredibly well-meaning mother).
